What counts as hidden text in Word?
This tool targets text stored in the DOCX with Word's Hidden font property, including common style-based hidden formatting. It does not classify white text, covered objects or zero-width Unicode as Word hidden text.
Does it remove comments or tracked changes too?
No. Comments and tracked changes are separate review features and stay unless hidden-formatted text exists inside a supported comment part. Use the dedicated Motricialy tools when those review records must be removed.
Does it scan headers and footers?
Yes. The scanner checks the main document and supported Word text parts including headers, footers, footnotes, endnotes and comments.
Can hidden text appear in print or PDF output?
Word has settings that can reveal or print hidden text. If hidden content is not intended for recipients, permanently removing it from a copy is safer than relying on display settings.
Does Motricialy upload my DOCX?
